James Warren Gray "Uncle Warren" was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on June 8, 1827 and died March 3, 1912 aged 85 years 8 months and 20days. He married Sarah Ann Horton in 1845. They moved to Arkansas in 1849 until 1891 when they moved to Oklahoma. Survived by his wife; four sons and three daughters, J.S. Gray of Roger Mills County; J.W. of Edmond and J.M. & G.W., northwest of Carnegie, Mrs. Mary Melton of Marshall, Arkansas; Mrs. Hannah, Jones, North of Carnegie and Mrs. Martha Riggins, Northwest of Carnegie. Burial in Alfalfa cemetery.
