Born March 20, 1921, she was one of 11 children born to Clayton and Onie Williams. Ms. Williams attended the public schools of Baker County and continued her education in Brooklyn, NY. She then moved to Ashbury Park, New Jersey where she spent most of her adult life and was a member of Mt. Olive Holiness Church of God In Christ. She then returned back home to Margaretta, where she lived out the remainder of her life serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by (8) siblings, Daisy Chestnut, Irene Williams, Bertha Lee, Julious Williams, Georgia McKnight, Willow Dene Williams, Solomon Williams, and Elder Lucious Williams
Survivors include sister Virginia Cleo Williams of Margaretta; brother Bishop Alpha W. (Minnie) Williams of Douglasville, GA; sister-in-law Mother Castile Williams of Margaretta, two god-daughters, and a host of nieces, nephews, saints and friends.
The funeral service was held Saturday, September 13 at noon at Emmanuel Church of God in Christ with Pastor Joe Ruise officiating. Interment followed in the Quitman Cemetery in Sanderson. Arrangements were under the direction of Mizell Funeral Home, Lake City.
