After a courageous battle with cancer Dan of Pearblossom passed away peacefully on the 20th of September at the V.A. Hospice in Sepulveda, Calif. He is survived by his wife Susan Lawson Rose of Pearblossom, his parents Donald and Agnes "Pete" Rose of Powell, Wyo., 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 1 sister, 3 brothers, and 17 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2008, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park both in Palmdale.
