LEEMAN FUNERAL-
Services For Prominent Aroma Man Thursday Morning- Funeral services for Jasper Leeman, whose death took place at his home near Aroma Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock will be held at the Aroma Methodist church Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock. Rev. G. D. Foster of Tipton will conduct the services and burial will be in the Aroma cemetery.
Mr. Leeman, who was a life-long resident of the Aroma community, was 78 years old last December. His death took place on the farm where he was born and reared. Death was due to cancer from which he had been suffering for several months and for the past few weeks his condition has been very critical. Death was not unexpected. He was the son of William and Harriett Leeman. He is survived by his wife, who before their marriage was Miss Maggie Gordon and by his two children, Mrs. Ella Etchison and Roll Leeman of the Aroma vicinity. He is also survived by one brother, Albert Leeman east of Aroma and there are also several grandchildren and great grandchildren surviving. Two sisters, Mrs. Sarah House and Mrs. Francis Gordon are deceased.
Mr. Leeman was a member of the Omega Christian church and was a man held in the highest esteem by all who knew him.
