Kathryn was the daughter of Adrian Andrew & Kathryn "Kate" (Hodges) Beecher.

She married 1st; William Henry Hopp
2nd; Raymond H. Taylor

She was the mother of William Hopp and Carolyn Jeanne Taylor.

Terre Haute Tribune, Sat. May 10, 1952, p. 2. Mrs. Kathryn Beecher Taylor, 56 years old, wife of Ray Taylor, retired city fireman, died at 10:35 o’clock Friday night at the residence, 1411 Maple Avenue. Besides the husband, she is survived by a son, William Hopp of Richmond KY; a daughter, Carolyn Jeanne Taylor, at home; two brothers, Samuel E. Beecher, Sr., and Walter Beecher, both of Terre Haute, and three sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Snyder and Mrs. Eloise Garrigus, both of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Geneva Nelson of Mobile AL. The body was taken to the Cross Funeral Home wehre services will be held at 3:30 o’clock Monday afternoon. Rev. Thomas Stovall will officiate and burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
