He farmed in Chester and East Lincoln Townships of Logan County, IL.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 4-7:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church Education Building in Lincoln. Arrangements by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral service will be 10 am, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln or Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
He was born October 26, 1950 in Lincoln the son of Raymond A. and Edna A. Stuemke Yagow. He married Donna J. Schick November 30, 1974 in Mt. Pulaski.
Mr. Yagow is survived by his wife of Beason; parents of Mt. Pulaski; 1 son: Chad (Tina) Yagow of Kewanee, IL; 1 daughter: Katie (Scott) Duvall of St. Joseph, IL; 1 granddaughter: Abigail Yagow; 1 grandson: Logan Yagow; 1 brother: Eugene (Carol) Yagow of Roanoke, VA; 2 sisters: Kay (Jim) Jacobson of the Villages, FL, Gloria (Ray) Morrow of Mt. Pulaski.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He was affiliated with Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln.
Danny graduated from Lincoln Community High School class of 1968, he was a member of Logan County Farm Bureau, 4-H Foundation, Ag Committee, former Elder and Treasurer at Zion Lutheran Church. State recipient of Future Farmers of America.
