James E Guinn negro, for the past eighteen years principal of the Fort Worth negro high school, died Wednesday. Guinn was born in Fort Worth in 1866 and lived here most of his life. He was a member of the negro Masons the Methodist Church K of P and U. B .of F. He is survived by a wife and one son. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 12:30 p m from the negro Methodist Church, East Third and Crump streets. The services will be conducted by Rev T G Johnson.
The school at the corner of Rosedale and I-35 was named after James E. Guinn, II.
