Mrs. Eliza Cook, widow of late George W. Cook, died last week of paralysis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Rhodes, at North Yakima, Washington. Formerly resided with her late husband near Roanoke, and was a sister of late Valentine Bird, also of Roanoke. Remains brought to Roanoke for interment, which took place Monday.
