Leola Roberta Hinderman died January 23 at the Odd Fellows Home in Saratoga.
She was born April 15, 1911, in the family home near the Madera/Merced county line, the oldest of nine children.
She leaves two sons, George Robert Dresbach of Point Richmond and James Maurice Dresbach of Sonora, eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her husband, Clarence Jacob Hinderman, died in 1994.
The family moved to Saratoga following World War II. Leola and her sister, Ila Wallace, owned and operated the Village Creamery restaurant here. In the 1960s, Mrs. Hinderman became secretary and bookkeeper at the Odd Fellows Home. She had retired from this position.
