Mary Ann Ford Sealock was the wife of Samuel Sealock, who was a farmer. Samuel died of cancer in Rappahannock County, Va., at the age of 74 years. Mary Ann had died previously, on Jan. 23, 1864, of "child bed" at 38 years of age.

*Robert Allison Sealock was born in Rappahannock County, Va. Family legend is told that Robert became angry with his father and left with, a cousin or a friend, taking a wagon and a team of horses, and drove to Ohio. At Marietta, Ohio, they sold the rig and split up. Robert then came to Harrisburg, Ohio (Franklin County), where he was hired by a banker to help him on the farm. He lived with the banker and they treated him hike a son, since they had no children. Later, when the banker and his wife died, they gave Robert the farm which was located on Darby Creek Rd. Robert married Nancy Jane Spangler, who died in 1930. Their children were James Allison 1876-1954, Mason 1880-1943, Elizabeth A. (Burchill), Edward R. 1882, Nellie 1884-1885, Nola (Beavers) 1886-1943, Robert 1886, Sarah E. (Hill) 1889-1910
