YOUNG MOTHER CALLED BEYOND

Eliza Jane Child, wife of H.E. Child of Fairview died at her home on Monday morning, February 6th after an illness of several months, during the last two of which she has been bedfast.
She was the daughter of N.A. and Sarah M. Taggart of Smoot, Wyoming and was born in Morgan Utah Jan. 17, 1886, coming to Wyo. with her parents while she was still a small child. They settled in Smoot where the family have since resided. as a child she was lovable and kind and early acquired habits of thrift and industry for which she has been noted throughout her life.
On Sept. 14, 1905 she became the wife of H.E. Child, the ceremony being performed in the L.D.S. Temple at Logan, Utah. From this union has been born 11 children, nine of whom survive their mother and were at her side during her last illness.
They are Mrs. Marvin Rich of Afton, Mrs. Delbert Chadwick of Freedom, Horace, Louise, DeOrr, Ralph, Doyle, Shirley and Ilene besides the immediate family she is morned by her mother, Sarah M. Taggart, two sisters, Mrs P.P. Hillstead of Fairview and five brothers, A.H., Morg, Leon Frank and Louis, all of Smoot.
The deceased was a kind and loving mother, a conscientious and devoted Latter Day Saint, charitable and patient and lived as she believed. She was loved and admired by all who knew her, and her passing is not only a sad loss to her husband and children but to the entire community.
Funeral services was held at the ward chapel inFairview on Wednesday Frbruary 8th at 2 p.m. The house was crowded to its capacity with people from the entire valley. Bishop R.H.Hillstead was in charge. The music was furnished by the Fairview choir under the direction of con Millward, and the Millward twins P.P. Cranney, P.P. Baldwin, Albert Barrus, A.R. Kinnington, and Bishop Hillstead were the speakers. Bishop D.T. Wood of Auburn offered the invocation and Ed. Sessions the benediction.
The beautiful display of flowers showed the respect and esteem for the deceased.
After the services the remains where taken to the fairview cemetery and intered in the family plot. S.E. Drandy offered the dedicatory paryer. The pall bearers were her five brothers and Jesse baldwin.
The sympathy of the entire community go out to Ez and his family.
