Funeral Services for Mary Daniel Brock, 81, Canton, were held at 10 a.m. January 22 at the Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Rev. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial was in the Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton. Mrs. Brock died January 20, 1999, in a Canton nursing home.
She was born March 24, 1917, in Martins Mill to the late William E. and Ella Rea Burdett Daniel. She grew up in Martins Mill, where she graduated from high school. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arden Brock in 1969, and brother, Louis Daniel. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Barbara Brock, Canton, and Danny and Patti Brock, Kaufman; four brothers, Paul Daneil and Spencer Daniel, both of Canton, Louie Daniel, Lubbock, and W.E. Daniel Jr., Athens; two sisters, Bertha Marvin, Canton, and Wanda Meredith, Corsicana; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Alan Daniel, Brett Daniel, Buddy Sparkman, Bill Daniel, and Kenny Black.
