Jacob moved with his family from NC
to MS and then on to AR along with
Moses Miller, his brother-in-law, &
sister Mary "Polly" Cress Miller,
during the years 1853-1857.
Jacob died of a fever in the spring
of 1863..after his death, Susannah
sold out in June 1867 and returned
to Cabarrus Co., North Carolina
with her five children.
