His long life was filled with good deeds. He was a good citizen, husband, father and neighbor and member of the Methodist church.
He spent most of his life in Blount county, coming here an orphan boy from Morgan county. He is survived by his widow four sons and four daughters.
The funeral services and interment at Lebanon cemetery conducted by Rev. G. W Elliott.
