Mahdeen A. Jacobs, 88, a retired pharmacy bookkeeper, passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Mahdeen was born Aug. 22, 1919, in Caddo Mills to Alice and Jim Aday. She was a wonderful Christian prayer warrior, loving sister and a mother and grandmother to many. She was a charter member of Samuels Avenue and Glenview Baptist churches.
She was preceded in death by both parents and two nephews, Larry and Roger Jacobs.
Survivors: Sisters, Betty Jacobs and Ann Whatley; nieces, Cathy Thayer and husband, Don, and Linda Kulhanek and husband, Carl; nephews, Barry McLain and wife, Lucretia, and Jay Jacobs; great-nieces and nephews, Alicia, Jody, B.G., Laura, John, Chuck, Jeff, Leiann, David, Shannon, Jesse and Jennifer and their families; and many other loved ones and friends.
