"Deaths - WILLIE R. LEE - Willie Rufus Lee, 85, 826 South Fourth street, died at 4:10 Wednesday afternoon in Blessing hospital. He was born in Ursa township July 19, 1869. He married Millie R. Bowen Oct. 8, 1890. She preceded him in death 32 years ago. He later married Sylvia Merill, who died June 29, 1952. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Tuttle of La Grange, Mo., and Mrs. Dan Hoover of Hillsboro, Ill.; two sisters; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews." - The Quincy Herald-Whig, 20 January 1955.
