William Rufus Rogers was the son of George Washington Rogers and Emeline Mary Jackson. ( Both of the burials of George and Emeline are unknown. There is a "Rogers" headstone next to their son John Thomas Rogers # 18022798 that has been thought to be Emeline but cannot prove out.)
William Rufus was the brother to Albert Newton Rogers and the uncle to Border Rogers (my father).
