Mr.Cowdrey came to Yakima from Oklahoma in 1937 and settled in the Ahtanum district.He moved to yakima in 1948.
He was born in Yelleville,Arkansas.
His Occupation-Retired rancher and Carpenter.
Survivors include four daughters,Mrs.Roy Barnwell and Mrs.Benn Repp both of Selah,Mrs.Dennis Kerl,Wiley City
and Mrs.Edward Nasse,Spokane,Wa.
Two sons,John Cowdrey of Tieton and Jeff Cowdrey of Yakima.
A brother Walter Cowdrey of Harrison,Arkansas.
A sister Edna Nevils also of Harrison,Arkansas.

Services for Mr.Ambrose W. Cowdrey will be at 8:30 am
Saturday morning in the Shaw and Sons Chapel.
Rev.James Dowdy will officate and interment will be in Tahoma Cemetery.
