Nicholas Lee Long St. George, Ut - Nicky peacefully passed away in the arms of his Mom and Dad on July 24th, 2008 at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born March 28th, 2008 to Samantha Marie Anderson and Casey Lee Long. Nicky was the light in every ones heart. His older brother Damian loved to help take care of his baby brother. He always loved on him and gave him kisses. He was Daddy's baby boy. He was Mamma's pride and joy. He loved the attention he got from his many grandparents. He loved when Grandpa Anderson would rub his mustache against his face. He'd smile from ear to ear. When Grandma and Grandpa Dix held him he'd be so calm and Grandma would take him outside for walks. Grandma Long loved holding him and talking to him. He was adored by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins who enjoyed spending time with him. He made everyone who had a bad day smile. Nicholas loved to chew on his blanket, and found his fingers to be amusing. He always had stories to tell you and looks to give you that made your heart melt. He will be missed by everyone in his family. We all love you, and know you are safe. You will always be in our thoughts. He is survived by his parents; brother, Damian; sister, Kiana; aunts, Casey, Anngella, Misty, Tonya; uncles, Anthony and Jason; grandparents, Anderson, Dix, Long, Minchey; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle Nicholas J. Anderson; grandparents, Vesta and Virgil Anderson. Funeral services were held Friday, August 1, 2008, at 10 a.m., at Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St. George, UT. A visitation was held Friday, from 8:30-10 a.m., at the mortuary, prior to services.
