AVERN ELLEN BRADLEY, 83, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002, at Hall Funeral Home by Minister Steve Smith. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. She was born January 20, 1919, in Proctorville, Ohio, daughter of the late Lewis and Nellie Galloway Callicoat. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Leon Bradley, and a brother, William F. Callicoat. She was a member of Rome Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Chester Bradley; a brother-in-law and his wife, Ira "Short" and Helen Bradley of Proctorville, Ohio; three sisters-in-law, June Edwards and her husband Eddie, Audrey Adkins and Mary "Tug" Martin, all of Proctorville, Ohio; very special neighbor and friends, Joe and Deloris Johnson of Proctorville, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
