Elizabeth is the daughter of Richard and Mary Jane Haydon, Brooks. She emigrated to the United States, leaving Liverpool on October 22, 1873, on board the Idaho. Arriving in New York, United States, November 5, 1873.
She married John Farrington on May 4, 1874, in the Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Utah. They are the parents of eight children; Richard Charles, Mary Gertrude, John Samuel, Lillian Elizabeth (Kemp), Albert Henry, Ethel Haydon (Snow), Franklin David and Ella Louise (Bell, Garvey).
The body was viewed at Larkin Funeral Home from 10 a.m., to 1 p.m. Funeral services were held in the Emerson Ward chapel, Sunday, at 1 p.m.
