At 2 o'clock on Tuesday morning, December 3,1919, Mrs. Hannah Lloyd, Widow of the late Mr. Michael M Lloyd, departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. L. Clem at Shenandoah, Va. She had been ill only a few days with heart trouble and old age. She was the daughter of John Silvious and was born near Shavertown, September 13,1826, her age being 93 years, 2months and 20 days. She is survived by 7 Children-3 sons and 4 Daughters: Isaac H at home; Thomas M., Shenandoah, Va; John M ., at Quicksburg; Mrs. sarah E. Holloway, Harrisonburg; Mrs. A. L. Clem (Rosie), Mrs. J.F. Harlow (Kate), Mrs. George Fultz (Mary), all of Shenandoah, Va. Three daughters preceded her to the other world; Mrs Jack Clem (Barbara), Mrs. Charlie Clinedinst (Hannah), and Bettie who died in infancy. She is also survived by 61 Grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren. She had been a member of Solomon's Luthern Church for about 70 years. Her funeral was held Friday moorning, meeting at her late home at 10 O'clock from Flat Rock and her body was buried in the cemetery near by at her request. Her funeral was preached by Rev. J. Carson Miller.
The pallbearers were as follows; J.L. Olinger, C.E. Tappey, J. B. Olinger, Bert Estep, G. L. Zirkle, and George Miller.
Those that attended the funeral from a distance were as follows; William Lloyd and son Amos, Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Sarah E. Holloway and son John, Harrisonburg; Mrs. A. L. Clem
and three children, Herman, Lucille and Mar; Mr. Thomas Lloyd, wife and child Hannah; and Peter Fultz, all of Shenandoah.
