CLARK, ROY D.

Roy D. Clark, 72, of 214 N. Tarr St., North Baltimore, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at his residence.

He was born May 9, 1928 in Bloomdale to Lewis and Alwilda (Clark) Clark. He married Carol Jean McCracken in March 1953, and she died in April 1968. He then married Juanita Harmon on Aug. 24, 1970 and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Roy II of Rudolph; Steve of Powell; three stepsons, Rick Harmon, Sidney; Robert Harmon, Fostoria; Chris Harmon, Bowling Green; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Jim (Winifred) McClanahan and Mrs. Bill (Jean) Long, both of Findlay; Mrs. Bert (Donnie) Selly, in California; Janice Lewis, London, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Charles; and five sisters, Stella Smith, Opal August, Louise Harmon, Frieda Cline, Leales Risser.

Mr. Clark was a retired distributor of British Petroleum (formerly Sohio).

He was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, North Baltimore, and its choir.

He served in the U.S. Army Artillery in Germany and Korea.

He was a member of North Baltimore American Legion Post 539 and recently served as finance officer. He was active with and past president of North Baltimore Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore, the Revs. George Hamblin and Paul Eichar officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, Wood County.

Visitation will be held from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
