Daniel Richard Oller, 74, died August 10, 1998 at his home in Garden City.

He was born May 11, 1919, in Pratt County, the son of Russell Eugene and Bessy Pearl Marteney Oller. A garden City resident since 1963, he owned and operated Dan Oller and Sons Custom Harvesting, and he also owned and operated a motel.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and Garden Valley Good Sam RV Club, both of Garden City.

On March 12, 1940, he married Evonna Crosley at Pratt. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Danny, Garden City, and Darrell, Liberal; two daughters, Shirley Ashcraft, Matheson, Colorado, land Beverly Beckett, Garden City; step-mother Clara Oller, Pratt; three brothers, George, Lucas; Robert, Marion; and Jerry, Langdon; six sisters, Gladys Krug, Viola Blue, Velma Schnittker and Ellen Jean Vernard, all of Pratt, Gertrude Wehling, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Lynette Chick, Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church, Garden City, with the Rev. Gary Mitchell presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.

Memorials may be sent to the church of MASH Hospice in care of the funeral home.
