Thomas Samuel was the son of Samuel L. & Sarah Florence (Johnson) Mohler, born on a farm near Mankato, Ks.
He lived his first 27 years of his life in Jewell county. The last 55 yrs, he lived in Nuckolls Co. Ne. He was Postmaster at Bostwick for 32 years. When he retired they moved to Superior, Ne.
On April 22, 1920, he was united in marriage to Bernice L. Blacker, at Mankato, KS. This union was blessed with nine children. Gerald E, Ferald T, Samuel F, LaVetta F, LaVella J, Dwight E, Clede O, Harlan E, & Thomas K. Altho baby Dwight passed away at five & half months old.
Tom held many offices in the I.O.O F. Lodge, both in Bostwick & Superior. He & his wife were faithful & hard working Lodge members.
Tom passed away at the Broadstone Memorial Hospital, Superior, NE, age 82 yrs. 10 mo. 6 days.
