Clark County Farmer Dies

Frederick Bruckhof, 74, Clark County farmer for many years, died Sunday evening at a local hospital after an illness of about two weeks.

Funeral services will held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shaw-Messer Chapel with the Rev. Norman L. Hammer , pastor of Grace Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Lorrinda cemetery at Henry. The body will be at the Shaw-Messer Chapel until the time of services.

Mr. Bruckhof was born August 10, 1894, in Bremer County, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W. Bruckhof. He never married.

Coming from Iowa in 1905, Mr. Bruckhof farmed in Clark County for many years. He was a member of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by one brother, Alvin J Bruckhof of Watertown, and three sisters, Mrs Herman "Freda" Klotz of Sumner, Iowa, Mrs Joseph (Clara) Shape, of Sandborn, North Dakota and Mrs Wallace (Edith) DeVaney of Camp Verde, Arizona

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.
