Birth: 1899
Oswego
Oswego County
New York, USA
Death: Mar., 1922
Jersey City
Hudson County
New Jersey, USA

I believe this to be the son of Sarah Driscoll Slattery and Captain William Henry Slattery (which would make the birth date c. 1899), although it is possible that it is instead his uncle James, the brother of Captain William Henry Slattery (which would make the birth date c. 1891). The family lived in Oswego, NY for many years and later moved to North Tonawanda, NY.

A newspaper article from the Oswego Daily Palladium (March 30, 1922) reports that he was master of Barge 296 of the Lehigh Valley Railroad Co. He had been missing since December 17 and his body washed up at the foot of Cleremont Ave, Jersey City, New York Bay. His funeral was held from 1030 Ann St. on March 29, 1922 and he was buried in New York Bay Cemetery.
