Harry E. Davis, 56, Retired District Water Employe

Harry Edward Davis, 56, retired District Water Department employe, died Saturday at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Md. He lived at 2808 Munson street, Glenmont, Md.

Mr. Davis was born and educated in Rockville, Md. For 15 years he worked for the Rosslyn Steel & Cement Co. and then for 20 years with the District Water Department. He retired in October because of ill health. His hobby was gardening.

Survivors are his widow, Mary Estelle; two daughters and son, Mrs. Ada M. Jenkins, Kentland, Md.; Mrs. Beatrice Parsons, Tokyo, Japan; Harry, jr., Chillum Heights, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Loma Hillard, Longview, Tex.; Mrs. Effie Mangum and Mrs. Lillian Mooney, both of Forestville, Md.; Mrs. Margaret Harding, Glenmont, and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Roy W. Barber funeral home in Laytonsville, Md. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
