He married Miriam Ashman, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tom, Sacramento, CA, and Tim, Celina; two daughters, Tami (Steven) Shrock, Versailles, and Karen Towers, Florida; a brother, Carl, Celina; a sister, Esta Bollenbacher, Rockford; and a granddaughter.
Deceased are a brother, Lisle L., and a sister, Dorothy Borger.
He retired as a foreman at Huffy Bicycle in Celina after 40 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Versailles.
Services were at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, the Rev. Monte Evans officiating.
