Robert J. O'Haver
Robert J. O'Haver, 73, Pleasantville, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 1991, at Regional Hospital, Terre Haute.
He was born Jan. 30, 1918, in Knox County to Robert and Mattie Turnmire O'Haver. He was a retired school bus driver for Northeast School Corp. and a member of Pleasantville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet Kirchoff O'Haver, who died in 1957; two sons, Bill O'Haver and Allen O'Haver; and one stepdaughter, Dearrela Hardisty.
Survivors include his wife, Julia L. Poole O'Haver; one daughter, Betty Brewer, Linton; one stepdaughter, Gloria Hardisty, Linton; one brother, Willard O'Haver, Linton; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Newkirk's Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Daeschner and the Rev. Gary Kelly officiating. Burial is in Christian Cemetery, Freelandville. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today.
