Services for Letha S. Purser, 66, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow at Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill.
Born on Nov. 1, 1938, in Kingston to the late J.C. and Lucy Osteen Lollis, she died on April 8, 2005, in Ardmore. She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney, and a sister, Latrell Lambert.
A resident of Ardmore for 10 years, she worked at Mercy Memorial Health Center in pastoral care. Before going into pastoral care she was employed as the auxiliary bookkeeper. Her main responsibility in pastoral care was visiting and offering prayers with patients. She did this with great compassion and tenderness. Her positive personality touched the lives of all she came in contact with, not only patients and their families, but staff as well.
