Deceased Name: Lee Southwick

BOUNTIFUL--Lee Southwick, age 86, passed away at a local care center, Wednesday, January 12, 1994, after a long illness.

He was born in Harrisville, Utah, December 22, 1907, to William I. and Mary Louise Campbell Southwick. Married Eunice Stoker, January 14, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities including bishop of the Ukiah, California Ward and bishop of the Willits, California Ward. Worked for 10 years as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple and was active in many sessions at the temple after his release. He worked for many years with his father and brothers as lumber producers, both in Utah and California. Later he worked for 17 years as distributor of Borden's dairy products. Was a director of the Willits Chamber of Commerce. In 1972 he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and in 1992 he sold his home there and moved to Bountiful, Utah.
Survived by his wife, Eunice; two sons, Duane L. Southwick, Bountiful; Clair J. Southwick, El Paso, Texas; four brothers, Ralph and Raymond, Twin Falls, Idaho; Verlon and Dale, Dietrich, Idaho; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son, three daughters, one grandson, one great-grandson, three brothers, two sisters and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 15, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Woods Cross 8th Ward, 1450 South 350 West. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Roy City Stoker Memorial Cemetery, Roy, Utah.
