Donald L. Besanceney, 45, Norwich. Conn., son of Louis and Veronica Foos Besanceney, Napoleon street , died Friday in Norwich hospital after a two day illness. Mr. Besanceney suffered a heart attack. He was manager of the Shetucket Lumber company in Norwich and a partner in the L. P. Gas company in Winchester, Ky.
The deceased was born February 17, 1913 in Lima, 0., and attended St. Joseph grade school, leaving here after completing eight grades. He married Dorothy Burns in Rosary Cathedral in Toledo, October 7, 1939.
Surviving are his widow: twin daughters. Denise and Diane; parents; a brother, the Rev. Paul Besanceney, S J. of Stanislaus of Parma, 0.; two sisters, Mrs. W. J. (Mildred) Koch and Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) Kledzik, both of Fremont.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Norwich, and the Fremont Council of the Knights of Columbus.
Friends may call at the Ochs funeral home beginning at 4:30 p. m., Sunday. Services will be held in St. Joseph church at 10 a. m., Tuesday. A Solemn High Mass will be offered with the Rev. Paul Besanceney as celebrant, the Rev. Leo Lehmkuhl, deacon, and Father Joseph Schill, Antwerp. 0., sub-deacon. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery, Toledo
