Born March 1, 1948, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Passed away July 15, 2008, in Lancaster, Calif. Left to cherish his memory is longtime companion Sherri Ferguson, son Charles T. Sharp (Danielle Knox); step- daughter, Michelle Hoyle, step- sons; Joshua Lucas and Kenneth Lucas; granddaughter, Tommie Sue Sharp; grandsons, Robert and Corey Blackman; sister, Barbara Faulkner of Texas; brother, James Sharp (Reta) of Roseville, Calif. Charles also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was affiliated with Sons of American Legion, Post 348 and was a muscle car and motorcycle enthusiast. His interests also included guns and knives. He was known as "The Bondo King." Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008, with Funeral Service to follow at 6 p.m., both will be held at Halley- Olsen-Murphy Funerals & Cremations, Palmdale, Calif. Inurnment will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park at a later date.
