Funeral Services Will Be Conducted Sunday Afternoon.
Mrs. Susan Maria Negley, 81, 421 Howard Street, died at her home Saturday afternoon after a long illness. She was the widow of the late William Negley in his lifetime one of this section's best known ranchmen and business men. Although a native of Oyster Bay, Long Island she had resided in San Antonio 31 years, during which time she was a leader in social and civic activities.

She was a member of the Wednesday Luncheon Club, Anglo-American Society, Conservation Society, Colonial Dames and Ladies Dancing Club.

She is survived by two sons, Richard V.W. Negley and Walter Negley and one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Negley Gresham all of San Antonio.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon with Rev. Rolfe P. Crum, Rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, officiating.

Active pallbearers will be the following: Judge A.W. Seeligson, George Gillet, A.Y. Walton, George Maverick, John James and Lamar Seeligson.
