Member of the Valley Presbyterian Church at time of organization: March 20, 1810.




"Henry Bogardus. died June 21,

1841, aged 77 years. His name appears

both in the New York Line

and in tie Sixth Regiment of Dutchess

County. He kept the tavern on

the corner of North Sallna and West

Genesee Streets (Empire House site)

for several years after 1805, which

caused what is now Syracuse, to be

called Bogardus Corners."
