Member of the Valley Presbyterian Church at time of organization: March 20, 1810.
"Henry Bogardus. died June 21,
1841, aged 77 years. His name appears
both in the New York Line
and in tie Sixth Regiment of Dutchess
County. He kept the tavern on
the corner of North Sallna and West
Genesee Streets (Empire House site)
for several years after 1805, which
caused what is now Syracuse, to be
called Bogardus Corners."
