Marshall Hardman Rites Held Sunday
Funeral services for Marshall Hardman, 79, were held at the Lexington EUB Church.
Mr. Hardman died at Brokaw Hospital, Normal, IL. He was born Nov. 1, 1871 in West Virginia, a son of John and Defina Spawr Hardman. He married Miss Addie L. Hoover in Lexington, June 27, 1897.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Icie Leach, and 3 sons, Hale, Clyde and Olie Hardman all of Lexington, 3 half brothers Louis of Springfield, OR, Clay of LeRoy, IL, and Scott Hardman of Lexington, IL and a sister, Mrs. Gay Smith of Wheaton, W. VA, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mr. Hardman was a farmer until his retirement in 1935. He was a member of the local EUB Church.
