DALE SCHILLING CALLENDER, 69, passed away February 15, 2006. She was born in Acy, Louisiana and was a resident of Houston for over 40 years. Dale worked for the Grocers Supply Company and the David McDavid Auto Group. She is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Julia (Melancon) Schilling and sister Jen Kechagias of Theodore, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Marion Callender Jr.; daughter Lynn Carter and husband David of Semmes, Alabama; three stepsons Garry Callender and wife Karen of Pearland, Stephen Carrol Callender and wife Tracy of League City, Mark Callender and wife Nora of Pearland, and Jo Callender; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue Chicago, IL 60601. Visitation will be from 8:00am-10:00pm Saturday, and the Funeral Service will be at 10:00am Saturday, February 18th, both held at Niday Funeral Home. Interment will follow in South Park Cemetery.
