"Richard and Ann Morse lived and farmed in Vay Idaho until 1869 when Richard became ill and they moved to Sandpoint, Idaho.
Ann was a member of the Vay Branch of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the Vay Community Ladies Club. She was clerk of the Seneacquoteen School Board and an election registrar in the Markham precinct for many years.
She is survived by her son, Richard F. Morse of Honolulu, and two daughters, Imogene Hilbers of Palo Alto, California and Millicent Silva of Mountain Home, Idaho. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Morse, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren."
