Costume desinger and puppet builder, best known for his work on ballets and for building the iconic Big Bird of "Sesame Street" fame. Love started working ballets in the early 1930s working with such notable names as George Blanchine and Jerome Robbards. In the 1960s, Love met Jim Henson and puppet builder, Don Sahlin. Love used his skills as a costume designer to create full-body characters, the most notable including, Big Bird, Snuffulupogus, and the LaChoy Dragon.
