LOWELL - Myron D. Sailor, 51 year-old Winberry stock rancher and treefarm operator, died Tuesday. He was born at Lowell Dec. 4,1906, the son of pioneer parents, William W. and Sarah A. Sailor.
He lived in the Noti area for 40 years, farming and working as a logging contractor,before moving back to the Lowell area five years ago.He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Eugene,and the Lowell Lion's Club.
Surviving are his widow, Rebecca Slawson Sailor, whom he married Sept.3, 1930; two daughters,Mrs. Stephen Reid of Eugene and Mrs. Ronald Walters, Spokane, Wash.; a son, Robert J., Salem; four grandchildren; and five brothers and sisters, Thomas J.,and Mrs. Ernest Walker and Mrs. Rebecca Bangs,all of Eugene,Mrs. Jessie Walker, Roseburg, and William L.,McMinnville.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at England Funeral Home.Burial will be in the Sailor Cemetery. Those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the heart fund. ~~END~~~
