Mrs. Mary Emma Sallee, 65, Nampa, died unexpectedly Thursday at her home. She was born Sept. 26, 1906, in Nampa. She was reared at Holton, Kansas, where she attended schools. She was married June 25, 1927, at Holton to Willis A. Sallee, and the couple came to Nampa in 1938. She worked at the Idaho Department Store in Nampa 29 years, and was in charge of the business office at the time of her retirement in 1971. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mrs. James (Vivian) Smart of Calistoga, Calif., Mrs. Bill (Virginia) Nylander of Twin Falls and Mrs. Sam (Barbara) Slaton of Redwood City, Calif.; a brother, James Howell of Wilder; a sister, Mrs. Don Benson of Topeka, Kan.; 12 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
