7 Sept 1967: Harvey R. Clawser, 40, Lebanon RD 4, is listed in "very critical" condition today in the intensive care unit of the Reading Hospital following an accident on his farm early Wednesday night. Clawser was helping to transfer a load of hay from a wagon to a truck. While he was standing on the truck, a bale fell and knocked him between the two vehicles, causing him to strike his head on the wagon. He was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital by the First and Safety Patrol ambulance and immediately transferred to the Reading Hospital. [Lebanon Daily News]

Clawser, 40, Lebanon RD 4, who was injured in an accident while moving hay bales on his farm last Wednesday, died at 4:10 a.m. today at Reading Hospital, where he had been taken after treatment at the Good Samaritan Hospital following the mishap. Born in Lebanon County, he was employed by the I. Auman Machine Company. He held membership in the Fontana Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Volunteer Fireman's Aid Association. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Mary Hoffer Clawser; three children, Mary Jane, Joan and Thomas, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey A. Clawser, Lebanon RD 4; and two brothers, Alvin and Robert, also of Lebanon RD 4. [Lebanon Daily News]

15 Sept 1967: Funeral services for Harvey R. Clawser, husband of Mary Hoffer Clawser, Lebanon RD 4, were held this afternoon from the Rohland Parlors. The pastor of the Fontana Evangelical United Brethren Church, the Rev. Lloyd LeFever, was in charge. Burial was at the Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery. Bearers were Alvin C. and Robert S.
