She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee C. Hancox.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Ellis of Ringgold, LA; grandchildren, Suzanne Knighten and her husband, W. F. "Bill" of Lafayette, LA, Celeste Bolton and her husband, J. Bernard of Shreveport, LA, Tom Ellis, Jr. and his wife, Melinda of Sunset, LA and Lee Ann Oskoian of Monroe, LA; nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
