Funeral services for Dessie G. Stutts Savell, 82, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2003 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Clarence Chism. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2003 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Savell was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer B. Savell, Sr.; one son, Elmer "Buddy" Savell, Jr.; and her parents, Gilburt and Mary Ann Stutts.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria J. Madera and husband, Ralph of Gilmer, Tx., Carolyn Nicholson and husband, Nick of Greenwood, La., Elizabeth Mancil and husband, Jimmy of Grand Cane, La. and Mary E. Lee and husband, Phillip of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
