Lillian Lucille "Granny" Allen, 96, of Greencastle, died on Friday June 6, 2008.
She was born on June 4, 1912 in Owen County, Indiana to Verley and Floy Buis McCullough.
Her husband, Edgar Gene Allen, a daughter, Vera Mae Allen, two brothers, Charles McCullough and Daniel McCullough and two sisters, Helen Hulsman and Mary D. Bachert preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sister, Garnett McCullough of Greencastle; children, Daniel E. Allen of Greencastle, Mary Allen of Greencastle and Marcia Simmerman and husband, Michael of Greencastle; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, with Rev. Patrick Smith officiating. Interment will be in Brick Chapel Cemetery.
