My grandfather was born in a log house on the family farm. He was the next to youngest in a large family.
He was married to Barbara Jane Hutchison McCaslin. He worked as a teacher, then was the assistant treasurer of Keystone Pipe and Supply Company for 50 years, and was the father of four boys, including my father, Richard McCaslin, and one girl. He was a very strict Presbyterian, but loved his children dearly.
