Rachel Dendinger Failor Hoyt, 86, of Norwalk and formerly of North Fairfield, died Saturday, May 24, 2008 in her home. She was born October 6, 1921 in Steuben, Ohio to the late John J. and Mildred M. (Robinson) Dendinger and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church of Milan. She was also a member of the Farm Women's Club of North Fairfield, Chit Chat Club of North Fairfield, North Fairfield Reading Club and Hunter's Glen Reading Club. She was a former employee of Fisher Titus Medical Center as Head of Central Supply Department. She enjoyed reading, travel and her grandchildren. She is survived by her Sons and daughter in law Bruce Failor of Southport, North Carolina, by Dean and Kathy Failor of Norwalk, Ohio, by her son in law Thomas Bergman and by her sister Joyce Lombardo of Norwalk, Ohio. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Abbie Failor, Dean and Wendy Failor II, Peter Failor, Matt Bergman, and Andrea Bergman McCrae, by 5 great grandchildren Brook, Josh, Taylor Rose, Benjamin, and Katie, several nieces and nephews, and by step son Jon E. Hoyt, of Pierce Colorado, step daughters and sons in law Connie and Gerald Oney of Greenwich, Ohio, and Debbie and Tom Strong of Ninevah, Indiana, and by 24 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Forest E. Failor and by her 2nd husband Elmon R. Hoyt, her daughter Beverly R. Bergman, four grandchildren: Cari Failor, Joel Failor, Amy Bergman, and Susan Bergman, by brothers Richard, Sherwood and James Dendinger, and by her sister Eileen Parker Nicolls. Friends may call on Tuesday June 3, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00p.m.and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home 98 West Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 4, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Paul Episcopal Church 87 West Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Margaret D"Anieri and Rev. Bob Andrews will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Monroeville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. John Jorden of Holy Trinity Anglican Church of Milan officiating.
