WOODY, Milton James "Rocky"
Born Jan. 7, 1960, in White Salmon, Wash. Died on May 26, 2008, in Riverside, Calif., at the age of 48. Survived by parents: James "Corky" B. Woody and AnnaBelle Woody, children: Amanda L. Woody and Samuel J. Woody. Long time companion Susan Ward, sisters: Cheryl L. Hernandez, and Gwen D. Woody, nephew Caleb Hernandez. Went to school in Rosamond, where he started Bull Riding in Little Britches Rodeos in the late 1960s. He continued Bull Riding until his mid-thirties. Since then he has continued to show his love for the sport by judging Bull Riding in varies areas, which included Amateur and High School Rodeos, until his death. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2008, at the home of his parents.
